Certification - Legal Nurse Consulting - Kaplan College Online

One of the new and unique programs offered by Kaplan College Online is its Certificate in Legal Nurse Consulting. According to the Kaplan College Online web site, the program is designed for RN's and provides the marketable legal skills needed to pursue employment opportunities at law firms or to set up an individual practice.

Legal nurse consultants generally review, organize, and analyze medical records, and perform medical and legal research. They can be responsible for locating and interviewing expert witnesses, and assisting attorneys with pretrial and trial activities.
