Who has a better business mind than you? No one, right? You should become a film producer and share your incredible movie managing skills with the world. You can become a film producer and make the next blockbuster science fiction phenomenon.

Rick McCallum may not be as well known as Star Wars director George Lucas, but Rick was just as instrumental in the success of the latest entry in the Star Wars saga. McCallum is the film producer of Revenge of the Sith. And he started down his path to greatness by becoming a professional film producer.

Duties of the Professional Film Producer:



  • Financial. When you become a film producer, you will be the person in charge of making the financial aspects of the film come together so that the film will be completed.

  • Legal. As a film producer, your legal knowledge will make sure that every aspect of the film follows the laws and ordinances of the industry.

  • Administrative. To become a film producer, your administrative skills must be developed in a thorough training program.

  • Technical. The film producer is in charge of all of the complex technical aspects of the film such as lighting, computers, and cameras.

When you become a film producer, you will be in a fast paced industry right in the heart of Hollywood. The successful film producer is rich and famous with an all access pass to the swanky parts of the city. Here are some of the projects of the profession should you decide to become a film producer.

  • Film Production. Of course the golden egg you're looking for when you become a film producer is the chance to work on the next big hit on the silver screen.

  • Television Production. Before you become a big time film producer, television is a great way to cut your teeth and get some valuable experience under your belt.

  • Radio Production. Radio production is another good training ground for you if you have aspirations to become a film producer.
