Bit Depth. Bit depth is the amount of information that can be stored in colored pixels. The higher the bit depth, the wider range of colors that can be included in the computer animation sequence.

Modeling. Modeling refers to the transformation of 2D designs into the 3D imaging. Modeling requires the process of meshing several layers of designs into a moveable image that can follow a series of programmable commands.

Transitions. A transition is the process of moving smoothly from one image to another, completing the computer animation sequence. Transitions make use of fading techniques that give images the appearance of movement.
