ESL and Bilingual Education
With enrollments of non English-speaking students on the rise, teachers of English as a second language (ESL) and bilingual education are in high demand. If you're interested in working with youth from diverse ethnic backgrounds, a job in ESL and bilingual education could be right for you. ESL teachers help non-native English speakers master English, often through one-on-one or small group instruction. To get a job in this field, you must first earn your bachelor's degree in education or a related subject. Special certification programs are also available online.
