Taking Nature's Course
The growing field of naturopathy uses natural and homeopathic techniques to prevent disease and encourage self-healing. To become a licensed naturopathic physician, you must attend an accredited four-year professional-level school of naturopathy. Courses such as clinical nutrition, acupuncture, and psychology are offered in most naturopathy degree programs to prepare you in this profession. Upon completion of a naturopathy degree program, most states will require you to pass a board exam to become licensed to practice.
