Become a Family Nurse Practitioner
Skilled enough to provide regular care to patients in a clinic or office setting, family nurse practitioners work with clients of all ages, performing routine checkups and even prescribing medicines when needed. To become a nurse practitioner, you must first be a registered nurse (RN). Once you've earned your RN credential, you can attain your nurse practitioner degree or diploma from a community college, hospital-based program, or university.
